Terms

Use the site with confidence and clarity.

These terms outline what you can expect from Aural, and what we expect from people using the platform and site.

Acceptable use

Aural must be used for lawful customer engagement. Harassment, fraud, and spam are prohibited. Users should not attempt to reverse-engineer the service, exploit vulnerabilities, or otherwise interfere with platform availability. Activities that violate privacy rights or applicable law are expressly forbidden.

Account responsibility

Customers are responsible for safeguarding credentials and monitoring activity from their accounts. Promptly report any suspected compromise; shared accounts should maintain clear access policies. We may suspend accounts that exhibit abusive or high-risk behavior while we investigate.

Content ownership

Our customers own their conversation data; Aural retains the right to operate, analyze, and improve the platform. Aggregated or anonymized metrics may be used to enhance the service and build features, but we do not disclose identifiable customer content to third parties without consent except as required by law.

Liability limits

Aural is provided as a service with reasonable performance expectations; certain warranties are limited as described here. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages and total liability is subject to the limits set out in your agreement with Aural.

What counts as acceptable use?

Use Aural for customer support, sales, compliance monitoring, and legitimate business workflows. Do not use it for unsolicited outreach, abuse, or unlawful behavior. If you rely on Aural for regulated workflows, ensure you maintain any necessary consents and compliance steps required in your jurisdiction.

How we handle data

Information transmitted through the service is processed to enable routing, reporting, and audit features. We retain data only as long as required for operation, billing, and legal obligations; retention periods vary by account settings and product configuration. We do not sell customer data.

Security practices

Aural maintains industry-standard security controls to protect customer data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, logging, and regular vulnerability assessments. We follow secure development practices and monitor systems for suspicious activity.

Access to production systems is limited, logged, and reviewed. In the event of a security incident affecting customer data, we will notify affected customers in accordance with applicable law and our incident response procedures.

Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and collect analytics. Cookies fall into categories such as essential (required for basic site functionality), performance (anonymous usage metrics), and optional (preferences or marketing-related settings).

You can control or opt out of non-essential cookies through your browser settings or via any available preference center. Third-party components (for example analytics providers) may set their own cookies; their use is governed by those providers' policies.

Cookies do not grant access to your account credentials; however, treat browser sessions on shared devices with caution and sign out when finished. For more details about the specific cookies we use and retention periods, contact support or see our privacy policy.

When the terms change

We may update these terms. Continued use after notification means acceptance of the updated terms. Significant changes will be communicated by email or prominent notice on the site when feasible.
